You have received Him. That reception is not a one-time event that can be revoked by a bad Tuesday. It is a permanent status. You are a child of God right now, in this exact moment of dryness. The Holy Spirit is the seal on that status. He is not a feeling you chase. He is the presence that guarantees the promise. When you preach, you are not speaking from your own reservoir. Ephesians 1:13 declares that you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

He is not watching from a distance. He is near. He is the one who sustains the faithful when the faith feels thin. The Word is written that he is accepted in the Beloved. He is known. He is loved. These are not feelings. They are facts. And facts do not change when the weather changes. He is a deacon. He is a leader. And he is a child. Those titles are secure. They are held in the hand of the Lord, not in the hands of his fluctuating emotions.

Yet, you have not abandoned the people. That is faithfulness. That is what counts. The Holy Spirit honors faithfulness over performance. He honors presence over perfection. You are present.
